Overland Evolution

OE is heading North this summer. We’re planning a trip to Newfoundland and the trans Labrador highway by way of Nova Scotia. If interested, check out our Community page.

September 14th WILL be a camp night at Rausch Creek. We are camping out just for the hell of it. Anyone planning to tag along is welcome to camp along side us. We will be meeting up at Rutters on rt83 by New Cumberland 0800/8:00am. We will have a Quick drivers meeting top off fuel and convoy to RC. Those north of New Cumberland can meet us at RC around 9:00 / 9:30ish. As always, all are welcome. All capable 4x4s and even first timers. Trail difficultie...s will depend on the drivers and rigs that attend. Normally Green, Blue and the occasional black. Most of RC has a bypass around anything difficult. We go as fast as the slowest rig and don’t leave anyone behind. PM me for any information. As always, what you do is on you. We’re not responsible for your decisions. No matter how epic they may be!

Our group for the Roof Top Tent Rally in October is growing! We are up to 4 rigs heading down Friday morning from the Harrisburg Pennsylvania area. If anyone else is interested in convoying down, just let us know. You are welcome to hang out for the weekend, or meet up with you crew once we get to the park.

We will be starting on a short video of the South West Overland Adventure. Unfortunately none of us really put much effort into filming this time out, so it’s going to be a little choppy. Look for it soon.

South West Overland Adventure is only two weeks out! Definitely looking forward to adding a few videos to the home page. We will be adding post to the (Overland Evolution Community) page daily as long as we have cell signal.

Looks like we will be doing another Winter Snow Camp in February. Most likely the second weekend if weather cooperates. Obviously snow is part of the plan. This will be an extreme weather trip, plan accordingly. Trip will only be Friday night to Sunday afternoon. We will once again be exploring Bald Eagle State Forest in Pennsylvania. On our past two trips, we’ve only scratched the surface of the trails. Also we will be taking the fly rods. If time permits, we will do a little casting in Penns Creek. We are starting our winter project prep. Seams we have at least two new expedition trailers to design, build, and test before May. Definitely need to clear out some extra space before fab work starts.

Just finalized the dates for the OE Southwest Overland trip. June 22nd - July 14th. More information will be on the Overland Evolution Community page.

Haven’t had a chance to post anything for a few days. The few that made it to the All Breeds JEEP Show in York PA had a really good time. The weather was absolutely terrible but made the obstacle course much more of a challenge. We didn’t get very many photos or videos due to the rain. What we did get will be posted on the community page. Here’s one of me giving rides on the O corse.
