Important Reminders for the Class of 2021! With the first semester over, please keep a few things in mind for your post high school planning. 1.Semester 1 Report Cards: If a post-high school institution is requesting semester 1 grades, please email your counselor the names of the schools you would like report cards sent to. Guidance does not automatically send report cards unless a student requests them.... 2.Acceptance Letters: Please get a copy of your acceptance letters to guidance as soon as you hear from the admissions office. They will need a copy of the letter of acceptance and for you to update your admissions status on Naviance. This includes all post-high school plans: military, technical school, certification programs, colleges. 3.Scholarships: The counselors encourage you to start your own scholarship search and apply to the many opportunities being sent to you. Be sure to check your email and your Naviance account for these opportunities. The Senior Awards Night will be held in May. If you receive a scholarship for that night, you will be made aware via an invitation. To even be considered for these scholarships, you must apply. The scholarships that are awarded that night are unknown to the student until that evening. Guidance DOES NOT give out scholarships that night that students already received. If you would like to be recognized for a scholarship you received on your own, please email the details to Mrs. Humphreys at [email protected].
