Happy Thanksgiving..... To everyone ...

I just want to share something that happened today at our bakery. We are doing our toys for tots drive and we were talking about how we hope ppl show up with a toy for a free loaf of bread. Well when one gentleman shows up with this box with 60 little monster trucks. I tried to give him more then one loaf of bread he said nope and I thanked him. So , a bit later another gentleman showed up with another big box of new star wars toys. He started to tell me that his son died of leukemia and he and his wife started to clean his son's childhood room out and he collected star wars toys. This touched my heart he just wants someone to enjoy and play with them . He took only one loaf of bread for this. I want to thank these two gentleman it shows the good and sometimes we need that..

130 years of history....

It is official Padora's six-pack house will be closing at the end of July. Our family wants to thank everyone of our customers. Our parents loved getting to know everyone over all the years and took great pride in being part of tamaqua. Padora's Italian bakery will remain open.
