What a great first TEDS of the season!! Despite the 10 drop in temperature, Wind, and chilly rain, everyone had a great time and placed in their respective classes. We also had lots of firsts. First time riders, first time pairs, and first time horses competing! Special shout out to our little Eve C Who bravely warmed up her pony Lucy in the pouring rain, but was a popsicle by the time it came for her to go down center line. Tough to ride when both you and your pony ...have the shivers, right? Great job kid!!! We are so proud of you!!! Congratulations to both Marc Wagner and Macie Hager coming in first in their respective divisions!! Two awesome rides! Special Congrats to Maria Woods for bringing her adopted boy Buddy to his very first show ever. Maria’s special salute will not easily be forgotten. Congrats to both Kate B and Cali G on their first show with their new horses Louie and Seven, and Bella S on Leigh Bausinger’s boy Swag. A bit of first time show jitters from both riders and horses, but you did it and all looked great!! Tammy T on her gorgeous Canadian Warmblood Kaya and Ella H on her New Forest Pony Figi looked like pros!! Super congratulations to Izzy R for receiving a 76 in training level with our own Hanoverian mare Wisteria Lane!! First level here we come!! Congratulations to PDF‘s own Morgan Collito on a hugely successful first recognized dressage show of the season! Morgan and her FEI mare Royal Angel landed a first place in her class at Intermediare 1! A few bobbles at the 2 Tempi’s, but strong improvement at the Canter pirouettes and zigzag Half passes.... And making her show debut, PDF’s own Homebred, home trained, coming 4 year old, Devon Lane, aka Tesla. The pair came in third in her class at training level test thre...e, scoring an almost 67% and receiving a qualifying score for regional championships! Tesla is very proud of herself! A shout out to Kim K for all her help! Stay tuned!! PDF is planning on attending over 20 more shows this season, both recognized and unrecognized, with our awesome show team! With the crazy year we’ve had, everyone pulled together even more to provide all these children with an amazing Christmas. Over 400 gifts were counted, (and then we gave up)!!
