Pine Village

Well Pine Village received 2+ feet of snow. We have a path between the metal and the renovated new red barn. Wanted to get down to get some pictures of the creek..but to deep to walk even with my snowshoes! Prayer for spring..take care.

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We are thankful for all friends and family. One little hen walk by this morning and I missed getting her picture..so this will have to do.

Greeted with a bit of snow this morning...had to get my winter coat out...burrr. Happy Tuesday, Nov. 17 everyone.

As fall fades into winter, we set the clocks back very soon and Halloween will be over tonite. The last of the turning trees are the Norway Maples finally letting go of their yellowed leaves. The oak leaves have fallen and we are raking and blowing the leaves off of the lawns to keep the grass healthy. So we turn our attention to inside things a bit more and light the fire place to keep the chill away. I will be happy to see 2020 pass into the history books. Hopefully 2021 will have less Covid 19 and we can all return to our family, friends, neighbors, parishioners, and coworkers. Thanksgiving comes soon, Christmas is not far behind. Make sure you tell family and friends that you love them. Things aren’t nearly important than our relationships. We value all those who stayed with us this season. Thank you.

What a treat last weekend, the Ways and the Klines discovered otters who swam down in front of their campers and played on the rocks, ate crayfish and just hung out on the other side of the creek. They were fun to watch.

A quilt group has been busy sewing away making a lot of really nice things in Bear Lodge. We went out to dinner tonight to enjoy fun time together. What a fun group.

The end of summer is here. The leaves are beginning to fall and the creek level is the lowest I have seen. The cool mornings and evening are very welcoming. I love this time of the year. Fortunately many guests will be enjoying Pine Village this fall.
