There's no way around it: younger generations are losing touch with Holocaust history, and it must be addressed. Last month, the Claims Conference (Conference o...n Jewish Material Claims Against Germany) released a survey on Holocaust knowledge in Millennials and Gen-Zers. The shocking results revealed that there is a significant lack of Holocaust awareness and lack of foundational knowledge about the facts of the Holocaust on a national level, with 63% of the respondents severely underestimating the scope of the tragedy. It's clear that the lessons of the Holocaust and the promotion of tolerance are more important now than ever. We need better educational programming surrounding these events something that the PHRF has made a top priority.
