Did you know?? We have restarted Sunday School! Every Sunday after we worship the Lord together at 11 am children ages 3-11 are ushered to their very own area. ... Our Sunday School department has done an incredible job of preparing an area where children can worship, be entertained, play games, enjoy refreshments and most importantly learn God’s Word. Did anyone else have a moment during last nights bible study on the Tabernacle Prayer Guide? The Brazen Altar- where things went to die. Representing our sacrifice/consecration. Interestingly in studying we find the Brazen Altar was big enough for all other items to fit inside of. That’s how huge it was. Oftentimes we want BIG demonstrations of God and His power at work in our lives but we want tiny altars... the bigger the desire to see God work... the bigger the sacrifice... and need for the altar. One more *AHA moment* The Altar of Incense was much smaller than the Brazen Altar yet still as significant. The incense that was burned here was lit with the fire from the Brazen Altar. This points us to the fact that the fire of your sacrifice is the fuel of your worship. When you consecrate and draw some lines in the sand, it will change the level of your worship. God desires His people to pray. Will you draw near to Him?
