Pathways brings to you our 9th day of our Magical Countdown. A very interesting thing happened this morning on the way to our 9th day countdown. On the Eight day of Christmas It has been a very busy week so far, and here we find it to be another countdown day till that magical Christmas eve. Have you made many plans for this day? Another busy day? Lots and lots of activity? How are you doing so far in the first 7 days of December with the season countdown upon us and all the craziness of the world around us? Now more than ever it is important to take that time for yourself ~ do things for you that will nourish ...you. Staying grounded and clear will help you so much . With so much yet to do, the shopping, the wrapping, the baking. What a whirlwind of activity. The unknowing of what this Christmas is going to be like? So much to try to filter out. This is why it is so important to figure out what is it that you need for yourself? Have you taken the time and stopped and ask yourself that question? What is that I need for myself? What would nurture my body and my spirit today? What have you been putting off doing for yourself because you have just been way to busy? Listen to your body because your body will always tell you what it needs. And when you do take the time even if it is 5 or 10 minutes, the more that you fill yourself the more energy that you will have and the more magical every day will become. What have you been putting off doing just for you? Do it today ~ tonight! It might take some thought because the majority of people are not use to asking what is it that I need to nourish my mind, my body and my spirit, but doing something especially just for you is exactly what Pathways magical Christmas day suggests. So, on the eight day of Christmas please find it very important to do something just for you.

WE BRING to you the 7th day of Christmas The Importance of Breath Work and Meditation Focused breathing will alleviate stress and anxiety, while helping with concentration and sleep.... Good for your lungs, oxygen intake, organs, glands, and blood pressure. Focused breathing combined with a meditation is designed to assist you in releasing the stress and balancing your body mind and spirit. When people are stressed it is common not to take deep cleansing breaths, setting the intention to take a few deep cleansing breaths throughout the hour will help release stagnant energy, surrender stress and bring more life to your cells. We are here to remind you to breath deeply, clear the mind during those breaths and concentrate on gratitude for what you have in your life. Gratitude opens the heart and sets the energy for more things to become grateful for. Find a comfortable, quiet place to sit or lie down. Start by noting the difference between breathing normally and breathing deeply. First take a normal breath. Now try a deep, slow breath. The air coming in through your nose should move downward into your lower belly. Let your abdomen expand fully. Now breathe out through your mouth (or your nose, if that feels more natural). Become conscious of your breath following your breath inward all the way. Rest for a count of 3 and then follow your breath outward and as you do let out a sign. As you do this intend to surrender and release stress and tension and everything that no longer serves you. Now take your awareness from the top of your head down slowly through your body and as you do intend for each part of your body to release and let go. Breathing into different places within your body helps to release stored tension and stress. Imagine that the air you breathe in transforms you into peace and calm into your body. As you breathe out, imagine that the air leaving your body carries tension and anxiety away with it. As you inhale, try saying this phrase to yourself: "Breathing in peace and calm." And as you exhale, say: "Breathing out tension and anxiety." As you continue in this rhythm continue telling your body to let go and relax. You can continue this procedure for ten minutes. (but if you don't have ten minutes any amount of time that you can spare will assist you on your journey of relaxing. See more
