The members of the Patton Fire Company #1 would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and to have a safe and healthy Happy New Year!

Keep an eye out for Santa on a Firetruck starting at 7 PM Tonight! Breaking News Santa has decided to make a stop in Patton prior to Christmas Eve! He wanted to make sure anyone that missed him on Light Up Night got a chance to see him. He will be here tomorrow, December 22, at 7pm. He has asked the Patton Fire Company to escort him around town. ... His route will include Mellon Ave Linwood Ave 5th Ave 4th Ave Palmer Ave Beech Ave Magee Ave (Details to follow) There will also be an opportunity for anyone that missed Light Up Night to pick up one of Santa’s goodie bags at the firehall from 7-8pm PLEASE SHARE

With Labor Day weekend approaching, the members of the Patton Fire Company #1 would like to remind our community and followers that we unfortunately had to cancel our Labor Day event at the Patton Park on Sunday due to COVID restrictions. We are rapidly trying to get the word out about the last minute decisions but it is tough to cover so many people that usually show up every year! If you are seeing this and plan on coming or know people who plan to come, please spread the word for us! We thank everyone who comes out and shows support year after year, and we hope to see you next year!

62 Captain 1 led our weekly training night as we worked with the new rope and equipment that we received from a grant. Crews set up a 3 to 1 Mechanical Advantage to raise and lower a patient in a stokes basket as well as using a harness and a Descent Control device to practice lowering a rescuer to the patient.
