Fundrasier Alert Happy New Year!!! We are kickstarting 2021 by having a Pampered Chef fundraiser for Peaceable Kingdom. The party runs from Saturday, 1/2-1/9! There will be Early Bird prizes, raffle drawing, recipe sharing, a live demo, and shopping for great products! You can be part of it all on the Facebook party page by accepting the invite. If you’re not on Facebook, that’s ok. You can still order by going to the link below. Our Pampered Chef Consultant is Irene Vi...llacci, and you can message her with any questions you have. Pampered Chef will donate 10% of the proceeds if sales are $599 or lower. Help lead us into the New Year with photos of your Peaceable Kingdom adopted family members living their happily ever after! It’s a tradition we started several years ago; and each year we just love seeing all the photos of the animals we have cared for over the years and hold close in our hearts. It sends us into the new year eager to continue our rescue work. So to all you PK adopted cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Meet Priya! Pretty little priya arrived to our shelter last month. She had previously lived in a hutch outside of a nursing home with little attention. Staff at the facility knew she deserved a better life and reached out to PK to help. Upon arrival she was whisked away to a foster home to learn how real house bunnies live. She was shy and refused to leave the safety of her crate. It would take her foster parents much coaxing to get her to approach them. She would barely tou...ch her food and acted like she never tasted hay. Fast toward to today and this little girl has blossomed. She comes out to greet her foster mommy and especially loves her foster daddy. She is learning to play with toys and starting to discover how to have fun hopping around. We have yet to see a binky but know it’s in there. She loves to cuddle next to her foster mom on a pillow and enjoy endless petting. Priya has excellent house manners. She keeps her home immaculate. And her litter box etiquette is perfect. Not a single poop outside the box. Priya would do best in an adult home. She still gets easily startled with quick movements; and can be protective over her home. Priya is estimated to be around 5 years old. She has been spayed. *We have a special little boy to introduce you to. This little angel required a lot of medical care and we are very fortunate to have our medical fund to help these animals in time of need. Please help us to continue to help animals like little Tyrion by making a donation towards our medical account* Here is his story: Tyrion was a little kitten who truly had a guardian angel looking out for him. He was found laying injured at the end of our parking lot. We later discovered ...that he had fallen out of a moving car. The stars truly aligned for him to fall at the exact moment to be in front of our shelter. The poor baby layed there for a few minutes as car after car flew by until a staff member luckily was driving in and saw him laying helplessly and immediately jumped out of his car to save him. Again those stars aligned to place our staff at that exact moment to drive in to save him. Tyrion was rushed by staff to vet care where he was stabilized. He had his poor little chin pulled down from the impact when he hit. He also was found to have severe nerve damage to his front leg which would later require an amputation. Tyrion is recovering in an amazing foster home where he is getting an immense amount of love and care. He has recovered beautifully from his surgery and is zooming around on 3 legs without hesitation. But it is now time for him to find his new forever home. Tyrion can be shy at first. He will require a quiet home that is patient and able to go slow with him. Once he earns your trust he is incredibly affectionate. He will jump up next to his foster mom on the couch and snuggle in with her. Tyrion is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for leukemia /fiv , and is microchipped. Hi there, Everest here! Anyone out there lookin for a new friend? I’ve found myself in need of a new home and I’m hoping someone can help me out! I’m around 2 years old, and am a beautiful husky! I love love loooooove to play with people and toys, because I’m so playful I really need a furever home with a fenced yard! I’ve even been getting good at catching a toy in my mouth in midair! I have a lot of energy and like to jump but am told I am an absolute sweetheart. I love to ...give kisses! Because of my young age and energy level, I can sometimes be too much for little hoomans so it would be best that the home has older kids not younger ones. When I first came to PK, I was recently skunked (ew!) but the volunteers here have been giving me spa days to help get me back to smelling fresh and clean. Thank you so much to our friends from Penn Jersey Horse Show Association. Even in the midst of the pandemic and with their own financial worries they chose to once again pick PK as their benefit show charity for 2020. How amazing they are. We thank you ever so much We also need to say a huge thank you to PJHSA board President Holly and her husband Chuck who added their own personal donation and Hollys daughter Laura and her husband Steve who also added their own donation. PK and the animals housed there are so very grateful for these generous donations.
