Our North Western Sales Representative, Steve Swim, recently performed an adhesion test on the new science building on the Central Washington University Campus. Located in Kittitas County, WS, our 890NST was applied to the brick to brick joints. To conduct the test, a 2-inch tab was started to measure the cohesive failure at 6.5-inches. There was no adhesive loss and the sealant passed. This particular application required no primer. Our 890NST was selected for this project because of its Non-Staining Technology capabilities and excellent adhesion. Several years ago, Pecora Sales Representative Kelly Johnson, provided a product presentation to HSG, Inc. on using our 895NST. Since then, they have been using the product, have a high confidence level and like the way it performs. When HSG, Inc. was tasked with restoring the sealant on the Manufacturer’s Bank Building in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, they looked no further than Pecora for assistance. HSG replaced the old sealant with Pecora 895NST at the glass-to-metal window frame perimeters (wet glazing joint) in the color Black to blend in with the window frames and tinted glass.
