Upcoming events in the county...

On Thursday, October 15, a tractor trailer with 11,000 prepackaged boxes of food will be distributed in the parking lot of Cornerstone Church, 595 New Bloomfiel...d Road, Duncannon beginning at 9:30 am. This distribution is not based on income and is available to anyone who can benefit. Boxes may vary but most include milk, eggs, protein and produce. Boxes will be distributed one per family on a first come, first serve beginning 9:30 am until they are gone. This food is provided through programming via the USDA and other organizations and is not an outreach ministry at Cornerstone.

Several positive Covid results last week and over past couple days have resulted in cautionary quarantines at three schools. But Perry's overall cases are down, as are other testing metrics for the county.

It appears one of the major water problems has been rectified in Duncannon...
