Penbrook Pirates

I note from WP with open arms! For many years Penbrook Athletic Association has been a great neighboring organization to Wilhelm Paxtang in our baseball league. It is with great sadness that the leaders of the organization had to make some very tough decisions this week with the best intentions of their players at the forefront of the decision. Unfortunately much of the decision comes from a lack of volunteers which continues to be a problem for disbanding sports organizatio...ns in not just our area but across the country. While it is very bittersweet for us as we always enjoyed competing with Penbrook, we are excited to welcome Penbrook's players to Wilhelm Paxtang and continue to grow our baseball family. Most importantly through everything is that children from the area have a place to play baseball. With our presumed growing organization numbers, it brings about the continued need for volunteers. We are still very early in our registration period and not exactly sure what positions we will need volunteers for. We are certain to be using multiple fields in Wilhelm Paxtang, Penbrook and possibly Lawnton this year and will need help in maintaining and the upkeep of those locations. With running multiple fields it also requires operating multiple concession stands. We are also likely to need coaches to volunteer as we are likely to have multiple teams at certain if not all levels. There will be numerous ways to volunteer come spring season and we hope you will kindly help out the members of our organization that put a lot of their time and effort into ensuring the kids have a great organization to play baseball for. We are looking for some help for the upcoming season! *We need board members to join and volunteer with the PAA ... *We need coaches to help during the season ~T-ball, Jr Pony and Pony *We are also looking for Sponsors! *Concession stand committee We have set registration dates for the upcoming season but we need definite people who are willing to help out! If you or anyone you know would be willing to be a part of our organization please send me a message!
