Penn Boro Members and Officers send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bill Swartz! He will be deeply missed! RIP! Grandview Volunteer Fire Department -- It is with deep regrets that we must announce the passing of Bill Swartz. This morning Bill lost his battle with COVID-19. Bill dedicated his life to the Fire and Emergency Service, with over 20 years at Grandview. Bill, touched many hearts and was known by all. Bill took great pride in his community. If you didn’t know him as a first responder, you may have know him as Santa Clause for many years or the local school bus driver. Last but not least Bill was master of Battle of the Barrel. Our sympathy’s go out to Bill’s family and friends, may he Rest In Peace.

Santa and Mrs. Claus wanted us to remind everybody that they will be driving around on Sunday DEC 20th at 1pm. He also told us he will have a few gifts to hand out! Mrs. Claus wanted us make sure that everybody knew the fire department will be selling 3 Dozen cookies for $10, and that these cookies are Santa and the reindeers favorites!!!! Listen for the fire whistle that will be when Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on the firetruck riding around Penn!!! Hope to see everybody out waving and smiling!!!!!

The Officer and Members of Penn Boro VFD, want to extend a very hearty and warm welcome to Santa Claus! We also want to invite the residents and children of Penn Boro in joining us on DEC 20th at 1PM as Santa will be riding around town! All you need to do is listen for the fire truck and come out and give Santa a big wave and smile!!!!! That might get you on the Nice list!!!!!! Just a quick update! Santa will be bringing Mrs. Claus also! So everybody really needs to SMILE and WAVE! This way you will be put on the nice list!!!!!!

Due to COVID restrictions we will NOT be hosting our Annual Toy Bash fundraiser! We are saddened by this and have to adjust. We are instead doing a raffle ticket. We are currently selling tickets, they are $10.00 for chance at $1500.00 Cash! There are 4 chances per ticket! The winner will be picked from the PA Lottery on December 19, 2020 at 7PM!
