As noted in last weeks email to the entire district, free lunch is now available for pick up every week for every student. Those purchasing at school can choose a free option as well. If you would like to pick up lunch for days your child is not in school (hybrid or all virtual) you must sign up today for the January 6 pick up. If your child attends DCIU for Early Intervention and will be in Kindergarten in the 2021-2022 school year, it is time for testing and registration. Please go to our website at https://www.pdsd.org/Kearlyintervention for everything you need to proceed. Those future Kindergarten students not in early intervention will register early next year.

The Penn-Delco Board of School Directors approved a recommendation by Superintendent Dr. George Steinhoff to have hybrid students work virtually after winter break until Thursday, January 7th. Students will attend class January 4, 5, 6th in a virtual format. Hybrid learning will begin again on January 7th. The few virtual days will allow administration time to collaborate with the Chester County Health Department and the District Nursing Staff to accurately track COVID-19 infections diagnosed over the break and complete necessary contact tracing. Hybrid students will be logging in for virtual learning Monday and Tuesday. Their Wednesday schedule will be as normal. The Thursday cohort will attend in-person school on January 7th. Please prepare for this new plan.
