Today is #Juneteenth, the 155th anniversary of the day that enslaved people in Texas learned the Civil War had ended and they were free. The news came two and a... half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation, which ended slavery in America. At this moment in time, when our country is reckoning with the racism and discrimination that permeates our history, we are asking everyone in our community to reflect on what we can do individually and collectively to dismantle systemic racism and structural barriers to equality. Together, we will listen, learn, and lead. These efforts can no longer wait. Now is the time to act.

Never Too Old for Tech: 96-Year-Old Uses Telemedicine During COVID-19

But, as Dr. Michal Elovitz says, This can only be our first step. If everyone’s steps stop with today, we won’t make any meaningful change.
