Tri-Municipal Park, Centre Hall PA

Centre Gives starts tomorrow! Building and diversifying park elements is our focus as we move into 2021. We plan to develop a nature-based playground to engage children’s curiosity of nature, a locally sourced and ecologically-sound timber-framed pavilion to support gatherings and provide shelter, walking trails, parking areas, and restoration of the park’s natural prairie landscape. In addition to mulching around newly planted trees in the Tri-Municpal Park last weekend, Scout Troop 20 was at the park again today to complete maintenance on larger trees planted within the park last year. Thanks to the local BSA Troop 20 for helping us mulch the newly planted trees at the park this past weekend! We truly appreciate all of your help!

We would like to take a minute to thank the Penn State Chesapeake Bay Foundation Club students for the work they did at the park today. They planted 100 trees at several spots on the golf course: pin oak, silver maple, eastern redbud, and flowering dogwood. We truly appreciate all of their hard work! Also, special thanks to Joel Myers for overseeing today’s activities.
