HHD students - participate in a UPUA student focus group on Student Poverty on Mon., Feb. 14, from 4-5:15 p.m. in Alumni Hall. Panera boxed meals will be provided. The Board will present their recommendations and then host break-out meetings with invitees to gain feedback and hear additional thoughts. It is important that your voice be heard in the development of these services for students.

We'd like to express our condolences on the loss of David Beukelman, a leader in the AAC community. David's impact was far reaching through his research, his written work, his presentations to practicing clinicians, his mentoring of students (including at the AAC Doctoral Student Think Tank hosted at Penn State), and his clinical practice. He was also a collaborator with Janice Light, the Hintz Family Endowed Chair in Children's Communicative Competence. David's death is an incredible loss, but his legacy will live on through those he has mentored over the years.
