PSBA monthly meeting is this Sunday 2/13/22 at Happy Hollow Restaurant. Meeting starts at 12 pm. If you are planning on eating lunch beforehand and would like to socialize please come between 11:00 - 11:30. Also anyone who is planning on coming to the Banquet on March 5th we need your reservation slip returned with payment no later than Feb. 25th. This is due to needing a count to give to the Robertsdale Fire Co. This reservation form was included in the last newsletter. If you did not receive a newsletter and still want to attend, please call Diane @ 814-935-6473 leave a message and your call will be returned within a day. We encourage members to come as we have a lot to go over regarding the next couple of weeks along with up coming hatchery operations starting up. Hope to see you all there!!!!

Unmanned aircraft (UA) and drone flight policy at Raystown Lake: According to Title 36 CFR 327.4- Aircraft, the operation of aircraft, including unmanned aircra...ft such as drones, model airplanes, etc., is prohibited in all areas of Raystown Lake. At this time, there are no approved areas at Raystown Lake for use of these aircraft. The operation of unmanned aircraft presents a potential safety risk to other visitors, a security risk in sensitive security areas, and a privacy issue to individuals that are recreating on campsites, boats, beaches, or other public use areas at Raystown Lake. Although the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) does not currently list Raystown Lake as a "no-fly zone", the operation of unmanned aircraft is a violation of Title 36 CFR, which governs the public use of the Raystown Lake properties. The USACE is working with the FAA to update the no-fly designation on FAA websites and apps. Please be respectful of this policy and understand that flying UA at Raystown Lake is prohibited in all areas and may result in federal enforcement actions. Ok last video of the babies!! I might add that yesterday when I was there helping to get the ones ready to transport down to the pond by Josh Tucker who I might add takes care of the pond by feeding these Striper babies and making sure that the oxygen levels are good in the pond and making sure there are copapods and zooplankton is growing in the pond so the babies can feed off of them until they are ready to be switched over to the feed. Anyway we had another fish spawn out yesterday and I believe it was said that another spawned out!!

Here is yet another one! This is so amazing to see! Some of these were taken down to the pond in Lancaster County to grow a little bigger and then we will take them out approximately 3 different times and transport them back up to stock in Raystown Lake!!

Those of you who picked guns as your prize, I will be sending the winners list and gun that was picked to our supplier. They will contact you when they are available for pick up! Please be respectful in not contacting them unless they contact you. They are doing the best that they can to obtain all the guns for you and they do not need to be inundated with calls asking for yo...ur gun. Thank you to all who bought a ticket and to the ones who sold the tickets. This has been a very tough year for everyone and it has been very tough on the Pa Striped Bass. , since we were not able to hold our tournaments. The tournaments and memberships along with our raffles is what helps the club to have the funds to be able to purchase Striped Bass to stock in Raystown Lake for all anglers!! Your donations are what keeps the Pa Striped Bass Assoc. thriving to be able to give back for everyone’s enjoyment of fishing!!
