Greetings and Thank You for voting us the "Best Eye Care Provider" award for the 9th year in a row. We appreciate your votes and your support during this pandemic. The office has been open since this pandemic started and our doctors have been available during this time to provide emergency eye care to all of Bedford County. Our doctors and staff are taking every precaution during this pandemic. We have placed barriers in our front office area, coffee makers and water coole...r has been removed from the waiting area, social distancing seating has been placed in the waiting room area, masks are worn by doctors and staff members, each examination room and special testing machines are cleaned and disinfected after each patients use, each person entering the office is screened for the Covid symptoms, temperatures are done by a non contact thermometer, and all persons are required to wear masks while in the office We appreciate everyone's cooperation during this time. We would like to say THANK YOU for your continued support and we will continue to kindly serve your eyecare needs during this Covid pandemic and in the future. Be Safe and Stay Healthy

OFFICE HOURS MONDAY - FRIDAY 7:00 - 5:00 During this rapidly evolving COVID 19 event, we want to assure you we are maintaining a sanitized, safe, environment for our patients. We will continue to follow all OSHA guidelines and regulations by the CDC. Our office takes these guidelines seriously and practices them on a daily basis.... To ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff, we ask all our visitors to do the following: We are limiting the number of people in our office. We prefer driver/family members to wait in the car. Only one family member can be present if assistance is needed. Please use hand sanitizer upon checking in Avoid touching chair arms No handshaking with staff members Wash hands with antibactarial soap

If you, your child, or any other person who must attend your appointment with you, show flu-like and/or cold-like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment with our office.... Pennwood Ophthalmic Associates will continue to remain open with regular office hours during this trying time in our nation thus far. We will continue to provi...de our patients with the eye care that we strive to provide to all our patients; however, you are not obligated to keep your already scheduled appointment if you feel that it is not in your best interest to be seen. We do ask that you reschedule your appointment for a future time if you have a cough, flu-like symptoms, fever, or have been out of the country or been around someone who has been out of the country.
