Lubin is our oldest, most historic brand at Perfumology, making the highest quality perfumes out of Paris. We asked their creative director Gilles Thevenin about the brand who provides insight to our industry's history, current state, and hints at future perfumes rooted in the past. https://perfumology.com//historic-perfumes-from-lubin-with Photo: past and present perfumes at the Lubin office, surrounded by 100+ year old perfume books and photos of the people behind the perfumes.

We caught up with one of our favorite people in perfume, Nick Steward, creative director of Gallivant Perfumes, to ask questions about building an independent niche brand and what he wants people to know when buying fragrances. Congratulations to Nick and his team for winning Best Niche Fragrance for Los Angeles at the Global Beauty Awards!

I will still be active digitally. Expect to see posts as I work alone in the boutique. Never in the history of humanity have we been able to prepare for such a pandemic, or communicate so quickly. We must come together as a society through social distancing. We can still adjust and operate in a modern way. Stay healthy and safe

Thank you Philadelphia Style Magazine for covering our Grand Opening!

Perfumology 17.05.2020

Meet Nick Steward, director of @gallivant.stories November 14th, 5 to 8pm. Nick has two decades of hands-on experience in perfume making in London and Paris. From creating for big global brands, his most recent role was as product and creative director of the cult house L’Artisan Parfumeur. Bored by the posturing of many brands, he devised GALLIVANT to get back to basics. His collection of unisex, gender-neutral eau de parfum brings a thoughtful, honest and unfussy approach to perfumery. Nick developed the collection with perfumery’s finest materials, handcrafted in France and hand finished in England in a genuinely artisanal, small-batch, human process done with love and attention. Please RSVP to [email protected]
