Happy new year! Persnickety is beginning 2021 with some big changes. After much deliberation, we have made the decision to close our retail shop in Olde Tollgate Village and transition to a private studio space to focus exclusively on custom invitations. We have so many amazing memories from our Olde Tollgate Village shop where we had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of couples over the last 12 years. We are excited for this new step into our beautiful new space and the... memories we will make there. Last week, we picked up the keys to our brand-new studio, located in York City’s beautiful Springdale neighborhood. As we spend the next few months transitioning from our retail shop in Olde Tollgate Village to the new private studio space, we’re reflecting on the changes 2020 brought as well as looking ahead to 2021. We’re excited to see weddings making a return and to dive back into the world of ribbons, rhinestones and rsvps! There will be some major changes coming, and we’ll keep you posted along the way. If you’ve already been to Persnickety to order, you likely won’t see many changes to your invitation process. We’ll be in touch with each of our existing clients individually and expect a seamless transition. As we sharpen our focus for what we do best beautiful, custom-designed invitations we’ll be shifting away from anything that detracts from that goal. To that end we’re having a sale! We’re still in our space for the next few months, and from now until then, all boxed stationery is $5 a box including beautiful Crane notes and all of our candles are $5 each (hurry they’re going fast!) We’re also selling many of our display pieces and fixtures and honestly, if you’ve been in the market for a workhorse of an old-school cash register, we’ve got one for sale!
