We’re back...almost! Starting this Friday, January 15th we will be opening back up for dine in and takeout service. We’ve missed you all and we are excited to get back in the socially distant swing of things! We are encouraging takeout and reservations for the time being but hope that changes soon! Bring us happiness and prosperity, bring us the much lauded peace on earth and good will toward all our fellow (hu)manswe sorely need it, and we’ll promise to treasure it this time around. Though your celebrations may be more restrained and less public than normal, may your cup, whatever it contains, runneth over and over again,..all the way into the new year! Here at the Herdic, we'd like to do our small part to help celebrate the turning of the yearso w...e'll be open for takeout, before we pursue our own isolated festivities. We'll be offering an a la carte menu, as we have the past several weeks, but we'll also have something a bit more exciting on offer: dinner for two, complete with all the New Year trimmings, including a cocktail kit to mix up a Hannah-worthy sparkling libation, an excellent meal, and a few appropriate party supplies. As most as you know, in accordance with Governor Wolf’s latest order, we will be closing for in person dining starting tomorrow, Saturday the 12th through January 4th. We will be open for take out tomorrow, December 12th for limited takeout (check out the second photo for our menu). We plan on doing takeout during the time we are shutdown, but we aren’t quite sure what that will look like yet. Keep an eye out for updates on our website or Facebook page. In the meantime, we ...will be having lots of hot coco, watching lots of Christmas movies by our trees, and thinking of brighter things in 2021. Happy Holidays to all our friends and customers. Blue Plates all week you say? As we have the past few weeks, we'll offer our Blue Plate Special to go, with a small premium$15 for takeout, but new this week, we'll be offering the Blue Plate as a comfort food takeout special all week long$15 for a hearty, comforting entree, to-go only, Wednesday-Saturday. Beginning today, Wednesday, December 9, we'll be reservation-onlyplease call to book a table! This allows us to better plan our food preparation, table spacing and hours... of operation, predicated on our bookings. We'll also be using a more fluid system to determine our operating hours at the restaurantwhile we'll still be open at lunch and dinner, we may close early depending on our reservations. We encourage takeout! Please call us to set up food to go, either pre-ordered or to pick up as soon as it's ready.
