Pet Search

Jet is one of 7 adult cats that were removed from the home of her deceased owner in Apr 2020. Jet is a very affectionate and sweet 3 year old cat that is wonderful with both dogs and other cats. She is feline leukemia/feline aids negative, vaccinated and spayed. Her entire world has been turned inside out, living in filthy conditions, yet, she only wants to be loved. Dottie arrived at Pet Search September 17 with her beautiful family of 5 girls and 1 boy. Their eyes were just starting to open! Mom Dotty is a hound/pointer mix; dad unknown. The pups were born September 10 and are now 7 weeks old. They have been lovingly raised in a foster home with another dog, cat and a child, so these babies are very well socialized. Sophia is one of five girls born in this litter. Applications can be found at petsearchpa.org. They have had their first vaccines, wormed and microchipped. Their adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter. These pups will be at our adoption event this Saturday, November 7 at the Pet Supplies Plus in Bridgeville. Please wear a mask and plan on social distancing at our event.

Sage is one of the 10 cats and kittens that are part of a colony that Pet Search has been trapping in Washington. Sage is a 14week old female kitten that has become very affectionate with constant handling. She is felv/fiv negative, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Sophie was an owner surrender to Pet Search after her owner moved and could not take her or her sister CO. The two girls spent 4 months alone in the house after the owner moved (they were being fed and cared for) before Pet Search took them in, so it took a little while for them to become acclimated to constant family activity again. Sophie is 6 years old and is a beautiful tortie. She is a big girl and is very affectionate once she knows you. She is wonderful with other cats.

Playboy was originally a stray on the island, was adopted from the Humane Society of St Thomas and then returned wh...en his owner left island. Playboy was in a foster home on the island that had other pets. Why was Playboy not adopted in St Thomas? Playboy is deaf, but knows some hand signals; he is also heartworm positive (he has completed all his treatment). We had him flown here to give him the chance for a great family a chance he probably would not get on the island because of his age, his handicap and heartworm.
