Today is the international day against homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia. PFLAG York is here for all who have experienced discrimination because of who they are and for who they love. You can help end homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia locally by voting. Pennsylvania primary day is tomorrow, Tuesday, May 18! Local elections are so important because it includes school board candidates that may determine a district's nondiscrimination policies. Judicial candidates also can have a huge impact on the LGBTQIA+ community when it comes to name and gender marker changes along with other concerns. We encourage you to vote for candidates that align with your values, and to attend our first in person meeting at 7pm!

Today members of the National Equality Act Team, along with representatives from PFLAG and hundreds of other organizations, are meeting their Senators to support the #EqualityAct which will protect #LGBTQ folks and better protect women, POC, and people of faith. Let's show these advocates some love: call/email your Senator and tell them it's #EqualityTime! https://act.freedomforallamericans.org/a/call-your-lawmaker
