Please join us in welcoming back Officer Timothy Matson! Officer Matson returned to modified duty after nearly two years since the tragic Tree of Life Synagogue... shooting that killed 11 people on October 27, 2018. He was shot several times in his heroic efforts to stop the shooter. Matson has undergone extensive rehabilitation to ensure his return to the profession he loves. "Tim said from day one that he would be back," said Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Chief Scott Schubert. "He's worked extremely hard over the last two years to make this a reality and we couldn't be prouder or more thankful to Tim and all who stood by his side during this incredible journey! If anyone was going to do this, after everything he's been through, I knew Tim could!" https://pittsburghpa.gov/press-releases/press-releases.html
