The Monongahela Incline has reopened following the successful completion of routine inspections. Port Authority recently performed brake and load testing under the supervision of inspectors from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. The inspections began on Wednesday, April 28 and finished ahead of schedule earlier today. The Wabash Tunnel, which has been open in the outbound direction due to the closure, will remain open in the outbound direction for the remainder of the day. It will resume its regular inbound/outbound operations on Friday morning.
