He Arose so that we can live life victoriously. Reflecting on this Resurrection day and also realize that today marks the 53rd Anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., One May think what a coincidence and for a moment how sad. But take a moment to think about Dr. King's last speech before he was assassinated and how he was concerned about conditions of the sanitation workers and especially poor people. This is not a coincidence for Dr. King and for u...s, it is not how we die but how we live and what we do while we are here on this earth. Here is Dr. King's final words. "Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn't matter with me now. Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." Let us take today to be thankful for what God has done for us and to think about how he wants us to live for however long we live on this earth.

Praying for these families. No longer are we losing our young men to prison, now we are losing our young women too...12 and 13 year olds, angry, hurting, hanging out alone. Parents please pay attention, watch your child on social media, keep them with you and most of all spend time nurturing them. One moment of enjoyment and freedom can cause a child a lifetime in prison. Parents, wake up!Community let’s help them!

C. DeLores Tucker would’ve been so delighted to see a woman elected to the position of VP of the USA. She worked tirelessly and helped paved the path for this day to come. Congratulations Kamala Harris and president Joe Biden. Our prayers are with you as you lead this country.
