We are so thankful for this group of doctor, PA and counselors. What a blessing to be able to connect, share and pray together so that we can be re-fueled to better love and care for our patients/clients. And praise God for answered prayers of healing!

Our beloved Krissy who’s our go-to person for both PRN and JAANDA gave birth to this sweetheart on 1/14/20. There’s nothing better than being able to hold and r...ock a baby to sleep (says the older mom who’s done having kids). Congrats to Krissy and Jason! (P.S. we have people covering for Krissy so please continue to use the same emails if you have questions about invoices and/or admin related questions.) On a side note, here’s a funny story. As I was meeting this babygirl for the first time, I had a chance to meet another young woman. After a couple minutes of being introduced, this woman says to me, Oh, YOU’RE Esther Lee the COUNSELOR... I heard so much about you. Then she goes on to say how surprised she was because she totally envisioned an old/elderly woman with all gray hair who wears clogs. My reply was, you basically described my inner me. My parents used to always tease me by calling me (grandmother in Korean) throughout my childhood. Guess it transferred over to my work persona.

Thankful for this group of counselors/doctor (and our new P.A.!) as we gather for our first monthly meeting of 2020. It’s been such a great space to hear wisdom and pray together for our clients, patients and churches. The theme of today’s meeting could be summed up in Matthew 7:18- A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear food fruit.

Happy New Year! Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6

Maybe this is just reality now that I’m older? But this season, there have been soooo many difficult and sad stories all around me. It’s been pretty overwhelming to see/hear about the suffering people are enduring. So here’s a promise that I want to share...

Couldn’t make it out to Alabama this year for the CCEF conference on ANXIETY but so thankful they’re live streaming it as this is such a huge topic. https://bi...t.ly/2VElYLy Right now is We Are Anxious People by Alasdair Groves. And at 12:15pm (eastern time) is my favorite Ed Welch God Comes Close to Anxious People. 8:15pm Daily Bread: Today’s Strength for Anxious People. Tomorrow: 10am When Bad Things Happen: Confronting Our Fears for the Future (Julie Lowe). 4:15pm Anxiety and the Body (Mike Emlet). Sunday: 10am "Walking with Anxious People" (Julie Lowe & Alasdair Groves). Check it out if you can! Looking forward to learning and gaining some wisdom- will be taking lots of notes for work.
