Decided to treat myself after a long week... But I didn’t do it the normal way . You see most ppl would come spend cash to buy a watch . This is how I saved... money and got a free hotel stay for the night I purchased the watch on my Amex platinum card and got 5x points on my purchase Then I paid the Amex platinum with my Amex gold card and got another 3x points. I don’t have to pay interest for 90 days so that’s when I’m going to pay the balance for the watch. I earned a total of 50k points which equals $500 in flights and hotels.
