Today is Hebrew Language Day, which marks the birth of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, who was the driving force behind the revival of Hebrew and its transformation into its modern form. , , . We wouldn't be who we are today without Ben-Yehuda. This competition is complementing the Israel Studies lessons that they are having in school this month. See here for more information: https://conta.cc/3k1IUiV... Good luck and we can't wait to see what you come up with!
Today, we celebrate and honor Indigenous People’s Day. At PHP, we acknowledge that the land that we sit on, are the ancestral lands of the Lenni-Lenape people, whose presence and resilience in our city and state, continue to this day. We recognize the history of land theft and oppression. Our commitment to lifelong learning and aware communication can help honor the Lenni-Lenape people, remember the history of the land we live on, and keep the strong stories of the Lenni-Lenape people alive, as we honor the original caretakers of this land. #phillyhebrewpublic #olamonline #phptakesoverig #indigenouspeoplesday
