Meet the doctors, part 3! Dr. Allison Keen Allison grew up in the foothills of Denver, CO and the suburbs of Dallas, TX. She graduated from the University of Denver with a BA in Biology. She attended Ross University School of Medicine for basic sciences and then Drexel University College of Medicine, where she obtained her MD degree. Allison completed her internship and residency at UPenn’s Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where she was Administrative Chief Reside...nt. After residency, Dr. Keen spent 13 years as an Attending Physician with the largest OB/GYN group at Abington-Jefferson Health where she served as Lead Physician for 4-years. Dr. Keen’s clinical interests are peri- and post-menopausal disorders, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, teen gyn care, personal wellness and nutrition. She has been a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology for 10 years. Allison lives in the East Falls area of Philadelphia with her husband, son and daughter. She enjoys running, gardening, hiking and coloring with gel pens. She and her family love soccer and spend most weekends watching their kids play. Allison’s philosophy in medicine is to practice personalized care by listening to her patients, staying up to date on current medical guidelines and often employing holistic approaches. Dr. Keen believes in empowering women by helping them take charge of their health, so they can live long and fulfilling lives.

Meet the doctors part 2! Dr. Victoria Myers Dr. Tory Myers was born and raised in Philadelphia. She earned her B.S. in Biology at Brown University, where she also played varsity field hockey and lacrosse. She then attended Jefferson Medical College to earn her M.D. Dr. Myers completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she was the administrative chief resident.... After residency, Dr. Myers practiced at Massachusetts General Hospital and was on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. After several years, she and her husband decided to return home to Philadelphia. Tory joined the ob/gyn teaching faculty at Abington Memorial Hospital where she remained for over 10 years. While at Abington, she was the director of family planning and the lead physician on the perinatal loss support group. After being in academic medicine for 17 years, Dr. Myers is thrilled to enter private practice along with her colleagues at Philadelphia Women’s Health & Wellness. She looks forward to returning to a more traditional medical practice with a less corporate feel. She strongly believes that the doctor-patient relationship is essential for good health. Dr. Myers lives in Philadelphia with her husband, two sons, mother and dog. She is an avid runner. Tory also enjoys travel, skiing and cheering on the Philly sports teams. She is frequently found enjoying nature on the trails of the Wissahickon and the beaches of Long Beach Island.

Meet the doctors: Dr. Jacqueline Kohl, MD, MPH Jacqueline grew up in South Philadelphia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in psychology. She attended Jefferson Medical College and the Jefferson School of Population Health, where she obtained her MD and MPH. She completed her residency at Abington Memorial Hospital where she was also administrative chief resident.... After residency, Dr. Kohl spent two years on teaching faculty while working with closely with the gynecologic oncology practice, honing her skills in robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery. She then spent several years in private practice as a busy generalist. Her clinical interests include robotic surgery, wellness counseling and vulvar disease. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Jacqueline lives in Elkins Park with her husband, daughter, dog and two kitties. She enjoys running, cooking, gardening and board games. She is a lifelong Eagles and Phillies fan, and can often be found belting out the Hamilton soundtrack. Shared decision making is key to Dr. Kohl’s philosophy in patient care. She believes that compassion and open communication are an important part of the therapeutic relationship, in addition to knowledge of cutting-edge treatments and recommendations.
