Reflections.....advice to my supporters. First thank you to all who believe in me and have supported me. Many of you are stressing for me about me and about who will care for you in my absence. There is frustration , anger, need to get even, need to put blame. Friends , those are all negative emotions that will eat you up, raise your cortisol and burn out your adrenal glands. All destructive emotions. Nothing good will come out of that. Please have faith. Have faith that tru...th will prevail. I pray every day that everyone involves tells the truth as witnessed by God. The societal laws will judge me, sometimes fairly and sometime unfairly for it is a Human system and prone to fallacy. My lesson for the weekend...... I had taken the ability to practice medicine for granted. Now I cant even prescribe an antibiotic for a patient/friend with a sinus infection. Very sobering. Very humbling but you can bet that I will savor that privilege that I previously took for granted and treasure it when I am reinstated. My advice to you comes from the Word. Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. My Body is My Temple Stress Reduction, another example. About the same time last year a 17 yo high school senior was brought in to see me due to lack of menses. She is not sexually active and not pregnant. Any traditional gynecologist would have put her on the birth control pill to create hormone induced menstrual cycles. 10 min visit. Prescription written. Good bandaid of the symptoms. $ 175 earned. Next patient. I decided to find out why. Both the patients parents are high ...powered attorneys Patient felt pressured to go to a big name college and subsequent law school. She was stressed about the application process. Nauseated. Not eating well and no period. So I said " suppose you screwed the whole process up. Could not get in for another year. Let me walk you through that. Too late for a summer job and have to work as a bagger at a local grocery. If you are anywhere like my daughter, you are a little princess driving a luxury car and using dads ATM card. And have no concept of money. Now you have to work a whole hour to earn seven dollars or two gallons of gas. Great opportunity to learn the value of money. Now you have a year to prepare for school and chose the right school. You get in at 18 and graduate undergrad at age 22 and continue on to three years of law school and finish law school at age 25 instead of 24. Now you are a 30 year old practicing attorney and an important client walks in. Do you think he will say you graduated law school at age 25 instead of 24, I don't want you as an attorney? ". She meekly said No. I said "then whats the stress about? Here are some digestive enzymes and vitamins Get outta here and come see me in three months. She came back, got into a good college and her periods are regular. So my advice.... focus on the big picture. Don't get lost in minutia and let stress disrupt your systems ( see previous posts) Most of you know my issue with the medical Board and the Law. Here is my perspective. I did nothing wrong. Hopefully my attorneys can convince the Board and the Judge, if that is the Lords will. If not I go to jail. I will educate the inmates about health and the power of the Word. I wont preach. I will show by example and if the authorities allow me I will continue the posts from jail. I completely surrender to the lords will. His WILL, will always happen. I understand there is an article by the public opinion which is based on State Board of Medicines petition for suspension. The information is factually inaccurate. My attorneys are handling the petition process. You know me. You know the due diligence Public Opinion does on factual accuracy. I am not at liberty to say anything more. This country was founded on the principle of innocent until proven guilty. I hope I am given that right.

Sohael Raschid, M.D., of Chambersburg is being investigated for alleged improper conduct, which he denies. No criminal charges have been filed. It is very early in the process and he understands that tests are being run before that may happen. The Pennsylvania Board of Medicine moved to temporarily suspend Dr. Raschid's license to practice, without waiting for the results of the tests. Dr. Raschid and Phoenix Wellness deeply regret any inconvenience to their patients and coll...eagues. They look forward to resuming their active practice in the very near future. My Body Is My Temple Thyroid addendum Thank you for the tremendous interest in my last Thyroid post. Please imagine each organ system in our bodies as an instrument in a symphony orchestra. One could have the perfect piano, the perfect percussion, the perfect wind instruments, the perfect string instruments, but if they don't play together, you will probably end up with a lot of noise rather than music. All organs are intricately connected and each effects the other, so i...n treating the thyroid, we have to consider all other organs. This is the reason why I have meticulously put my series of posts in the order that most things need to be treated. The PH of the body affects the gut. The gut affects the thyroid and adrenal glands, and of course, all of them affect each other. The problem with our health care system is that each organ system has a specialist, and most of us physicians do not truly talk to each other. Yeah, we send a copy of our notes, but we have no conductor for our symphony. So unless there is a paradigm shift, we the functional med docs are trying to do it all. A very daunting task!
