What sets Pi Dental Center apart? Having an in-house ceramist allows us to achieve superior esthetic results. In this photo, Master Ceramist, Dental Lab Technician, Nancy puts the final touches on a Zirconia crown while Andrea assists. Matching the front teeth is a very complex and delicate procedure. Nancy uses stains and glazes to duplicate and blend any characterizations and color variations. After she artistically perfects the crown, it is fired in a porcelain oven (kiln). Very few dental offices have an in-house lab technician. Read Pi Dental Center's blog tomorrow and learn how a Master Ceramist is such a valuable asset. #dentalesthetics #inhouseceramist #pidentalcenter #dentalcenter #zirconiacrown #porcelainoven #dentalkiln #dentalcrown #restorativedentistry #prosthodontist #prosthodontic #dentist #dentalassistant #dentalartistry

Veneers can improve the shape, shade and overall appearance of the teeth. Dark teeth that are resistant to tooth whitening procedures can become lighter. They look natural and can improve a patient’s self-confidence. The rounded and lengthened shape of these veneers suit the shape of this patient’s face and help her to appear younger with a vibrant smile. #cosmeticveneers #veneers #dentalveneers #prosthodontist #prosthodontics #dentalcenter #dentalmakeover

Not sure whether you should schedule your dental checkup now? The American Dental Association says that dental care should continue during the resurgence phase of the pandemic because dental care can be delivered safely. Dr. Robert Slauch, a Prosthodontist at Pi Dental Center, was mentioned in the Fall issue of the Incisal Edge Magazine 10th Annual 40 Under 40 Specialists section. Here is an excerpt from the issue: Dr. Slauch received his DDS at the University of Maryland. He is a sought-after speaker at prosthodontic and clinical-research meetings. Dr. Slauch became interested in dentistry when he damaged his front tooth in a childhood accident, and consequently spent a lot of time with his... dentist. I developed an appreciation for how my dentist helped me, and I wanted to help people restore confidence in themselves in the same manner. Dr.Slauch states, Stay active, stay humble and remind yourself you chose a profession that will make lasting impacts on people’s lives. #incisaledge #bencodental #proshtodontist #prosthodontics #dentalcareer #dentalspecialist
