Hello Members and Friends, Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 global pandemic and Governor Tom Wolf's Stay-At-Home order, the April 21, 2020 meeting of the Pioneers West Historical Society has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date. Please stay safe and well until we can meet again.

While this is not a regularly scheduled meeting of the Pioneers West Historical Society, we invite everyone to attend John Oyler's presentation which was organized by our sister group - The Historical Society of Collier Township! "George Washington's Seven Visits to Western Pennsylvania," Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the Collier Recreation Center.

REMINDER - Norene Beatty, Historian and Storyteller, will be making her presentation on the Whiskey Rebellion this Tuesday, September 17, at 6:30 pm at the Collier Township Community Center!

REMINDER - the next meeting of the Pioneers West Historical Society, the Annual Membership & Board Meeting, is being held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 6:30 7:30 p.m. at the Walker-Ewing Log House on Noblestown Road. Please attend and bring any visitors who may be interested. Due to Noblestown Road repairs do allow some extra time in case you need to follow a detour to reach the log house.
