Howdy! Holiday hours for our food truck are: closed Sunday 12/22 through Wensday 12/25, reopening Thursday 12/26. Happy holidays!
We're headed to Penn! Opening a permanent location inside the new Penn Food Hall at 34th & Walnut, hopefully by the late winter.
Hey folks, we're looking for a new full-time manager-pizzaiolo to help us run the truck. Do you know, say, a killer line cook who's way more talented than they're being compensated for, and who's open to outside-the-box opportunities? Hit us up! From our craigslist ad: Pitruco Pizza, Philly's premier wood-fired pizza truck, is searching for a full time manager-pizzaiolo to help oversee all aspects of the business. ... The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience, ideally involving pizza, and will have had experience supervising others (e.g., a sous chef with strong organizational an interpersonal skills or a restaurant or food-truck manager with some pizza experience under their belt). Additionally, candidate must be able to drive the truck and be prepared for a busy summer season (6-day work weeks will be routine) and relatively slower winter (4-day work weeks will be the norm). Possible compensation up to $40k/year, commensurate with experience. Please email resume or give us a call to discuss this opportunity further. We look forward to hearing from you! [email protected]
We finally got our act together and updated our hours and locations on the website. If you're one of the now millions who have been frustrated by outdated information in the past, we apologize and invite you to give www.pitrucopizza.com/locations2014.html another chance!
Now you can check out our side project by day as well as by nite!
And it's official: Pitruco returns to Love Park tomorrow (and all following Mondays!) after a year-long absence. Come help welcome us back by enjoying any of our pies for $5 all afternoon tomorrow (11:30-2:30)!
Last year today Pitruco was born. Thanks for all the support. We have truly enjoyed the journey.
Pitruco took Philadelphia Magazine Best of Philly 2012 Food Truck Award! Thanks to all of our loyal customers and supporters, we couldn't have done it without you. Foobooz
