In light of our Engage Pitt campaign starting this Friday, in the upcoming weeks we are going to feature a team member who will provide a testimonial about their experiences horseback riding and how the team influences their college experience. This week's featured rider is Kira Cunningham! Kira is a freshman pre-communication science disorders major who plans to specialize in speech pathology. Her favorite style of riding is hunter/jumper and her favorite horse to ride durin...g weekly team lessons is Henry! Kira's favorite part of being able to ride in college is that, "it is something familiar to connect with here. I love that I can keep riding and meet new friends while doing it." A favorite one of her #pitteq memories from this year was: "I loved going to the overnight Stonegate Show in Ohio because I got to spend time with the team and it was a lot of fun." :) To support riders like Kira and the rest of the team in continuing to ride in college, please check out our engage pitt fundraising campaign that will launch this Friday! The campaign will feature regular updates on the team and our fundraising goals! Thank you all :) See more
