The Compost People provides curbside food waste collection for composting and a bag of finished compost for free to each customer every spring. Imagine not putting ANY food waste in your trash! Yes, we collect everything including meat, diary, fish, and all those other things you can't compost in your backyard. Rather than sending it to landfill where ...it rots and creates greenhouse gas, we compost all of our customers waste at our partner farm near Pittsburgh.
