Let us pause to remember our fallen hero Corporal Allan D. Johnson, lost this week in 1982. Corporal Johnson was born on February 20, 1940, in Renova, Pennsylva...nia. He served with honor and distinction in the United States Army's 101st Airborne Division and, upon his discharge, joined the Prince George's County Police Department in August of 1962. Corporal Johnson served at Districts III and IV before being transferred to the Special Operations Division. In 1976, Corporal Johnson became one of the founding members of the department's Motors Unit and was named its Officer in Charge. On December 6, 1982, Corporal Johnson conducted a traffic stop near Central Avenue in Largo. During the stop, he was struck by a car. The driver was under the influence of PCP. Corporal Johnson sustained massive injuries. He courageously battled his injuries for two more days before succumbing on December 8, 1982. Corporal Johnson served the Prince George's County Police Department for 20 years. He was the 13th member of this agency to make the ultimate sacrifice and the 21st law enforcement officer to give his life while serving this profession within Prince George's County. At the time of his death, Corporal Johnson was 42 years old and survived by his wife, son, and daughter.

The Masters really put on a show. It was an honor to have them here. Seeing Bob Savori and Brian Plauger team in the partner ride (random draw) unbelievable.

Overall ranking I had to pull down the overall rankings. The one point penalty for keyhole violation wasn't factored in. It will be corrected and reposted. The posted results are correct, and still up. Sorry for the confusion. Jeff

As soon as I get a chance, I will add the Masters in to the overall scores. I had to pull them out so we could make accurate calculations. I made a few mistakes on the original awards. The published list is correct. I’ve been in contact with those riders, and will make it right. Thank you for your patience. Jeff
