Today we celebrate the retirement of our amazing and humble office manager (and so much more) Mary Ellen Klein. She was the first person you talked to when you called camp, she always made sure you felt welcomed on the mountain, and she served quietly behind the scenes to make sure camp didn't fall apart! For nearly 20 years she helped hold camp together and made sure it continued to be a place where all people felt loved. We would also like to thank her husband, Paul, who h...as served in many capacities here at camp. His work ethic, positive attitude, and love of camp have been evident over the years. Many projects we see completed around camp wouldn't have been the same without his work. Even after his own retirement he continued to work hard here at camp for many years. Mary Ellen and Paul are excited to be moving to and retiring in Lancaster, PA. They will be close to their two sons and their families, and have always loved Lancaster. We know they will be back at camp in other ways, but the daily life at camp won't be the same without them! Best of luck to both of you on this new journey in life. May the Lord bless your path, and please know that you're always welcome here at Pocono Plateau!
