Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine SAACOFP Chapter met virtually on Thursday Oct. 15th for Whatever You Would Like to Know About Family Medicine Residency Q&A with POFPS Trustee Dr. Weaver-Agostoni. Dr. Weaver-Agostini, a residency director at UMPC Shadyside, handled questions from the students while discussing residency life. Three residents, including two LECOM graduates, from the UPMC-Shadyside Residency attended to discuss their firsthand experiences of being in residency and their transitions from student to resident.

The POFPS Board of Trustees met this past weekend for a virtual strategic planning retreat. The trustees discussed ways to enhance member benefits and member engagement. The POFPS Trustees are working hard for the membership to ensure they are providing the needs while remaining adaptable to the ever-changing environment.
