Starting JUNE 11th Hey POF we’re so excited to announce that we’re offering a 4 week KIDS BRAIN AND BODY CLASS Friday’s 9:30-11am that is FREE for POF members children ages 3 and up( kids will be separated by ages) Yes, you heard that right ...... If you’re a monthly member or purchase a membership your kids are welcome for FREE..If you’re not a member we’d love to have you and your kiddos join us .. cost is $8.00 per class. Here is the best part... we will be offer...ing several different adult classes at the same time as the kids class so you can have your time and the kids can have theirs .... Here is what the kids class will entail.... We are all aware of the obvious physical benefits of exercise, but do you know that exercise could also help your child academically? Exercise helps prepare both the body and the brain for learning! BODY: developing and strengthening your child’s core muscles help them to be able to sit up straight in their chair and also provides the upper arm strength and endurance to hold their pencils and crayons appropriately without fatiguing. BRAIN: the brains need movement for coordination, emotional regulation, focus, and impulse control. ALL of these things lead to improved attention and better learning outcomes!
