We are aware that there is a huge power outage. West penn is trying to figure out the situation. please report the outage with West Penn Power. We have nothing to do with the electricity. We do ask that you let your water run (think of a spaghetti noodle) and open your cabinet doors under your sinks to allow for any warmth to reach the pipes during this power outage. Our maintenance is out trying to unfreeze all the pipes that are freezing up as we speak. Please be patient as they are trying their best to get to everyone as soon as possible.

It’s that time of year once again! Our guys are out and trying their best to keep these roads clean and safe for all of our residents! We kindly ask that everyone Please remember that there is NO on street parking allowed. This can make big problems for these big plow trucks trying to get down these roads. Stay safe and warm!

Port Royal Village currently has 6 homes that are move in ready just in time for Christmas! Our rentals start at $750 a month! If you refer someone that moves in you will also get a referral bonus of $200 off of your rent!

Trick or treating this year will be on October 30th from 3-6!

With Veterans Day coming up we at UMH would like to honor our Veterans. If you or a member of your family have served in the military please share a picture a of them in Uniform. We will then have the pictures printed and posted in our office. You can share the picture in the comments or email them to [email protected]. I have taken the liberty of sharing the 1st picture, one of our very own here in the office!

The Board of Commissioners are pleased to announce Trick or Treat with Rostraver Township Police. With Covid-19 we know it’s impossible for those children with ...comprised immune systems to participate in traditional Trick or Treating. This year we have partnered with BVA school district to provide this opportunity for those children and to ensure all can enjoy a Halloween Celebration. A flyer will be going out to provide your address to the Rostraver Township Police Department to have treat bags dropped off at your home by our officers. This event is only for Rostraver Township residents and is not a substitute for those that can participate in traditional Trick or Treating. Along with the flyer you can contact our staff at 724-929-8877 to provide your address as well.

This week is Fire Prevention Week. This years theme is "Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen". Did you know that cooking is the leading cause of home fires and h...ome fire injuries. Follow these steps to ensure your safety while cooking! #cookingsafely #firepreventionweek Keep an eye on what you fry. Most cooking fires start when someone is frying food. Watch what you are cooking. Fires start when the heat is too high. If you see any smoke or the grease starts to boil, turn the burner off. Make sure you are awake and alert. Alcohol and some drugs can make you sleepy. Wear short sleeves or roll them up so they don’t catch on fire. Make sure children and pets stay at least 3 feet away from a hot stove. Turn pot handles toward the back of the stove so no one can bump them or pull them over. Move things that can burn away from the stove. This includes dishtowels, bags, boxes, paper and curtains.

Reminder: Trick or Treat is from 3-6 tomorrow Saturday October 26th. I will be in the office at that time giving out treats so bring the kiddos by! There will also be a movie- Toy Story 4 and Candy Bar Bingo in the Community Center at 6:30. All are invited- This is not a Port Royal event, it is being held by some awesome Residents!
