PPG hosted an educational seminar at the Westin-Memorial City in Houston, TX on July 13th, 2017 highlighting the UL 1709 5th edition changes that affect the fireproofing market. The 5th edition of UL 1709 represents one of the biggest changes in the market as well as among UL fire standards, said JP Leon, Americas PFP Manager, PPG. PPG’s goal is to promote a deeper industry understanding. Our purpose for hosting this event is to educate key market players about correct product specifications that are designed to mitigate real life hazards. The seminar was well attended and plans for the next event are already in the works. A big thank you for all of those who attended!
