Who was John Wesley? We will learn more about him on Nov. 6th at 7:00 PM when we hear Rev. Bruinsma speak on the subject "The Reformed Perspective on John Wesley"! John Wesley was not a reformer of the 16th century Reformation. He was not numbered among the men that attended the Synod of Dordt in 1618. Neither was he alive when the westminister confession was adopted in 1647. John Wesley was born in England in 1703 - and later became a man of major theological influence in England and the American colonies. Though remaining a member of the Church of England, his teachings diverged radically from the truths of the gospel established during the Reformation. Join us!
