Last night was meaningful. To each of you who played a role in bringing the vision to life, and to those who came to experience it with us, we thank you. This program was dedicated to the exceptional young women of Sister Cities Girlchoir. May they always trust the beauty and strength of their own voices and may they lead the way to a brighter future for us all.

Meet the composers: Symmetry Jessie Montgomery is a violinist, composer and music educator from New York City. She performs and gives workshops in the US and abroad and her compositions are being performed by orchestras and chamber groups throughout the country. Music is my connection to the world. It guides me to understand my place in relation to others and challenges me to make clear the things I do not understand. I imagine that music is a meeting place at which all peo...ple can converse about their unique differences and common stories.
