FROM BUSINESS OWNER TO HOBBYIST Five years ago, Helen Badulak's vision of owning a commercial egg shop became a realization. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit us hard and decorated eggs was not a sustainable product that paid the bills. The only thing sustainable was the love we carry in our hearts for the art form in order to inspire and share with all of you. The Artful Egg is in the process of closing and returning back to our roots, selling out of our home which is where we... first started 50 years ago. Once we move, we will only be selling Pysanky that we have created ourselves and our book. You will also be able to view our museum collection of decorated eggs for inspiration only Thank you all for the wonderful memories, stories, support and kindness. They will live forever in our hearts, forever. Hoping to see you at our new home once our commercial property sells. In the meantime, make an appointment to take advantage of our big sale!! Hugs to all of you and stay healthy! See more

It has been a difficult time for all of us during this isolation. We wanted everyone to know that we miss seeing all of your faces, hearing your stories and sharing photos. Once the stay at home order is lifted, we will be extending our 50% off sale in the shop by appointment only. Call 610-406-9239. Here is another Ostrich Egg created by Oleh Kirashchuk. It is very unique because you can find smaller Pysanky in the design. What a beauty!!

We also found, taking inventory, that we have 2 additional Ostrich Pysanky by Oleh Kirashchuk. This is what we have left available for sale
We have been busy taking inventory of our museum eggs and to my surprise, we have additional eggs that are part of our 50% sale. These Pysanky were decorated by Taras Horodetsky and are difficult to purchase since he died at the age of 42. This is a limited collection for sale.
We just love these Petrikivka Eggs. They are decorated by Ludmila Bondarenko from Kyiv, Ukraine. I especially love the 2 cut with a small decorated quail egg inside.
Grouping of brown etched chicken eggs. These beauties were decorated by Tatiana Konoval from Sverdlovsk, Ukraine.
