Safe toys & Gift Month WARNING !!!!! Ballons: Childred can stoke or suffocate on deflated or broken balloons. Keep deflated balloons away from children younger than 8 years old. Immediately. Small balls and other toys with smart parts: For children younger than age 3, avoid toys with small parts, which can cause choking.... Scooters and other riding toys: Riding toys, skateboards and in-line skates go fast, and falls could be deadly. Helmets and safety gear should be worn properly at all times and they should be fixed to fit. Magnets: High-powered magnet sets are dangerous and should be kept away from children. theater marketed for children or adults, building and play sets with small magnets should also be kept away from small children.

Natoinal Influenza & Vaccine CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine for everyone 6 months of age and older as the first and most important step in protecting against seasonal flu viruses. This season, CDC recommends the use of injectable flu vaccines (flu shots) only. Again this season, Nasal spray flu vaccine is not recommended. Vaccination to prevent flu is particularly important for people who are at high risk of serious complications from influenza.
