Lots of helpers at Edgeworth Elementary today!

Each school building must conduct at least one school security drill per school year within the first 90 days of the school year. Today, Edgeworth Elementary practiced an off-site evacuation. Everyone did a great job.

Last week the high school and both elementary schools participated in the Great Northeast Shakeout to learn and practice what to do during an earthquake. Taking the proper actions, such as Drop, Cover, and Hold On, can save lives and reduce the risk of injury during an earthquake.

To begin the 2020-21 school year, many families have agreed to provide morning and afternoon transportation for their high school students. While this makes transportation safer for our students, it does present challenges with arrival and dismissal at the high school.
