Quakertown Food Pantry

The Quakertown Food Pantry recently received a very generous donation from the GIANT Company, the parent company of GIANT Food Stores, GIANT. This money was raised through their Bag Hunger Campaign, that ran September 1st-December 31st, and will go toward feeding people of this community. On behalf of all of the volunteers, thank you to the GIANT Company and to everyone who contributed to this campaign. We are continuously humbled by the support and generosity of this community, and would not be able to do the work we do without all of you.

A huge thank you to Richland Elementary School! Students collected 488 pounds of food for the Pantry. Luke Witts, a third-grade teacher at Richland, dropped off this very generous donation. Great job to all students and staff.

Unfortunately, the Quakertown Food Pantry will be closed again today, Friday Feb. 19, due to the weather this morning and road conditions.

Thank you to Zach Foley! He collected 840.5 pounds of food from family and neighbors. He and his brother delivered the truckload of donations to the Pantry. On behalf of all Pantry volunteers, thank you for this incredible donation! Thank you to all of our volunteers and to all who donated in 2020. It's because of the kindness and generosity of this community that we were able to provide food to those in need throughout the year. Words cannot express how grateful we are to all of you for your support.

The pantry will be closed Thursday, Dec. 31, for New Year's Eve and Friday, Jan. 1, for New Year's Day. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Last night the Pantry received 428 pounds of food and a check for $50 from the National Guard stationed at the Sellersville Armory. On behalf of the volunteers at the Quakertown Food Pantry, we would like to thank Sgt. Wanamaker and his team for this donation. We appreciate your generosity and your help in supporting our local communities.

Thank you to Anna Clement! She asked her neighbors for donations and collected over 48 pounds of food for the Pantry. Thanks to your kindness, we're able to fight hunger in our community. Amazing job! Thank you also to all who donated.
